🗺️ Discovering the Didask platform: what is each page for?

New to Didask? This guide walks you through every page on the platform so you know exactly where to go, and what you can see based on your role.

Written by Océane

⏱️ The essentials

• The left-hand navigation bar centralises all your tools for: creating, publishing, tracking, and configuring.
• The pages you see depend on your role.
• The Didask AI section covers everything related to the AI Coach and the Learning Assistant: configuration, learner conversations, and statistics.
• The Settings section is reserved for administrators: this is where the entire platform is configured.

👤 Personal space

👁️ Visible to: all roles

The user's personal home page and dashboard: this tab centralises the training courses assigned to the learner as well as their progress indicators. Learners also find a direct shortcut to pick up a course exactly where they left off.

🔔 Notifications

👁️ Visible to: all roles

This page centralises all alerts related to the user's activity on the platform.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 🔔 Discovering the notification center

💬 Messages

👁️ Visible to: Learner, Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator (not available by default - requires activation by the Didask team)

An internal messaging space, specific to each learner group. This is where trainers can exchange messages with their learners, or send an announcement to multiple groups in a single action.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 💬 Communicating with your groups via the Messages tab

🤖 Coach

👁️ Visible to: all roles (not available by default - requires activation by the Didask team)

The AI Coach is available outside of training courses, as a permanent companion: users can ask it work-related questions at any time. The Coach draws on the company's knowledge base to answer. It is distinct from the Learning Assistant, which only intervenes during a training course.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: ⚙️ Activating the AI Coach for my learners

📚 Trainings

👁️ Visible to: Learner, Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

This tab centralises all training courses accessible to learners: courses assigned to them, open-access courses, and programmes (depending on the chosen audience).

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📚 Using the training library

🗂️ Projects (to design your training)

👁️ Visible to: Author, Space Administrator (projects in their space), Platform Administrator

This is Didask's creation tool. A project contains training content: modules and granules. You create your training courses here, organise them into folders, and collaborate with other designers. Each project can then be published via one or more publications.

💡 A project is not yet visible to learners until a publication has been created and broadcast.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📚 Creating and customising a project

📣 Publications (to broadcast your training)

👁️ Visible to: Author, Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

A publication is what makes a training course accessible to learners. From this page, you manage broadcasts: who has access to which course, under what conditions, and with which options (locking, reminders, certificate…). A single project can have several independent publications.

👥 Users

👁️ Visible to: Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

This page lists all users on your platform. You can create accounts, modify roles, activate or deactivate access, and import users in bulk. You can also consult a user's profile to view their progress or access rights.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 👤 Creating a user account

👨‍👩‍👧 Groups

👁️ Visible to: Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

Groups let you segment your learners to better target your broadcasts. You create user groups here (by team, region, level, etc.) and use them to assign training or restrict access. A user can belong to multiple groups.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 👤 Adding and managing learner groups

🏆 Certificates & reports

👁️ Visible to: Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

A centralised section for finding different documents: the course certificate (given directly to the learner to recognise their achievement), the administrative certificate (intended for your funders or Qualiopi audits, with precise dates), and the activity report (a document detailing module by module how learners actually used the training).

📊 Statistics

👁️ Visible to: Group Coach, Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

Statistics give you an aggregated view of activity on your platform: learner progress, completion rates, time spent. You can filter by training space, group, or period, and export data to visualise or share it outside the platform.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📊 Understanding global platform statistics

This section covers everything related to the Learning Assistant, the Coach, and the knowledge base that powers them.

⚙️ Configuration

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

This is the central setting for Didask AI: you choose whether AI is deployed to all your users or restricted to certain groups, describe your company's context (sector, missions, products) so the AI can personalise its responses, and enter your own business lexicon (acronyms, words with specific meanings) so it interprets them correctly. The Learning Assistant and the Coach are each activated separately.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: ⚙️ Configuring and activating AI

🔌 Connectors

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

Connectors allow you to automatically and daily synchronise content from an external collaborative tool (Teams, Slack).

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 💾 Installing and using the Didia app on Slack and Teams

📈 AI Statistics

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

This page displays real-time data covering usage of both the Learning Assistant and the Coach.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📊 Viewing Didask AI usage statistics

💬 Conversations

👁️ Visible to: Space Coach, Group Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

This is where you access the history of conversations between the Coach / Learning Assistant and your learners. You can review exchanges, identify questions that didn't receive a satisfactory answer, and spot topics where the AI needs enriching.

👍 Feedback

👁️ Visible to: Space Coach, Group Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator

This page centralises learner feedback on AI responses: thumbs up, thumbs down, free comments. It is a direct signal on response quality and a starting point for improving the knowledge base.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 🗣️ Analysing response quality and user feedback

📖 Knowledge base

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

The knowledge base is the Coach's document library: the files, articles, and content you import so the Coach can draw on them when answering questions. The quality of the Coach's responses depends directly on the quality of the documents you place here.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📘 Building the Didask AI knowledge base

The "Settings" dropdown menu groups the more technical or less frequently modified settings for your platform.

🏫 Training spaces

👁️ Visible to: Space Coach, Space Administrator, Platform Administrator (not available by default - requires activation by the Didask team)

Training spaces are separate environments within your Didask platform, useful if your organisation has multiple entities, subsidiaries, or distinct training contexts. From this page, you create and manage these spaces and define who has access.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 👥 Organising my platform by training spaces

🏷️ Tags

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

Tags let you categorise your content (projects, modules, training) to make searching and filtering easier. From this page, you manage the tag reference list available on your platform.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 🏷️ Organising the training library by themes

🎨 Customization

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

This is where you configure your platform's visual identity: logo, colours, name. These settings apply across the entire platform.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 💅 Customising the look of my platform

🔑 Licenses

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

This page gives you a view of your licence usage: number of licences or credits consumed, active learners.

🔐 API keys

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

If your organisation integrates Didask with third-party tools (LMS, HRIS, etc.), API keys allow you to secure these exchanges. From this page, you generate and manage access keys to the Didask API.

To learn more, see the dedicated article: 📡 Understanding and using the Didask public API

🛡️ Security settings

👁️ Visible to: Platform Administrator only

This page centralises your platform's security rules, at two levels:

Available by default:

  • Password policy (minimum length, require upper/lowercase letters, special characters, number of non-reusable passwords).

On activation by the Didask team:

  • IP-based session restriction (each session is tied to an IP address - if it changes mid-session, the user is automatically logged out)

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA - a 6-digit code sent by email after entering the password). MFA requires IP restriction to be activated first.
