📊 Understand Global Platform Statistics

Global Reporting centralizes all activity and progress data for your learners across the entire platform. Here is what it contains and how to read it.

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• Global Reporting is accessible from Administration - Reporting. It is reserved for admins and managers.
• Two tabs: Overview (aggregated progress and activity) and By user (individual table exportable as .xlsx).
• Filters let you refine by space, group, publication, and period.
• Progress statistics are calculated at the end of the selected period, not in real time.

🧠 Understand the Value of Global Reporting

Global statistics give a cross-cutting view of training activity: who has started, who has finished, how much time was invested, and where learners drop off. It is the entry point for managing a large-scale rollout and quickly identifying early warning signals.

⚠️ Do not confuse this with the data available in the Publications section, which is limited to a specific publication. Global statistics cover the entire platform.

⚙️ Access Global Reporting

  1. In the "Configure" sub-section, click "Statistics".

  2. Navigate the page to analyze the available data.

🔍 Filters

Always set your filters before analyzing data.

What Do the Available Exports Contain?

1. Consolidated learner data (.xlsx)

Access: Administration › Statistics › "By user" tab › "Download .xlsx"

Available columns:

  • Identity: user ID, first name, last name, email, LMS learner ID and name, group(s), space, access code, custom fields.

  • Metrics: average progression (%), courses started before the period, courses started during the period, courses completed, modules completed, training time (formatted and in raw seconds).

  • Dates: account creation, update, deactivation.

2. Activity logs

Access: Administration › Statistics › "By user" tab › "Download all activity logs"

Raw data for each activity event per learner. Same filters as the consolidated data export (groups, spaces, deactivated users, courses, period).

3. User export (.xlsx)

Access: Administration › Users › bulk action

Available columns: user ID, first name, last name, email, custom fields, creation, update, and deactivation dates. This export does not include progression metrics.

ℹ️ Technical Notes

  • Asynchronous exports: exports are generated in the background. The administrator receives a notification when the file is ready.

  • Progression is calculated at the end of the period, data is not updated in real time.

  • Training time corresponds to the time within the selected start and end dates.

  • Charts require sufficient data to display.

  • Anonymous learners can be filtered separately.

  • The .xlsx export is only available from the "By user" tab.
