📈 Track and Analyze Program Statistics

Follow the learning statistics of your learners from your programs.

Written by Pauline Bouin

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• Access from Publications - Program - Statistics. Three tabs: Overview, Content Tracking, Individual Tracking.
• The 5 key indicators measure access, start, mid-point progress, completion, and final assessment success.
• Progress counters (started, completed...) are always calculated over the full duration - they cannot be filtered by date.
• Data is calculated in real time on each page load.

⚙️ Access Statistics

From Publications - select your program, then click "Statistics".

📋 The Three Statistics Tabs

  • Overview: indicators + activity chart.

  • Content Tracking: progress by course.

  • Individual Tracking: table per learner.

📊 The 5 Overview Indicators

Indicator

What it measures

Has access

Learners with access to the program.

Started

Learners with at least one recorded learning session.

Past halfway

Learners who completed 50% or more of the modules.

Completed

Learners who completed 100% of the modules (and passed the final assessment if one exists).

Completed the evaluation

Displayed only if the program includes a final evaluation.

⚠️ These counters are always calculated over the full program duration. They cannot be restricted to a date range. Only the "Unique learners" activity chart is filterable by period.

👤 Individual Tracking

Data available per learner: name, email, groups, progress (%), modules completed, time spent, last activity, start date, completion date, final evaluation attempts. Exportable as CSV.

ℹ️ What the available exports contain

💡 Statistics and export scope

  • Statistics and exports only include modules with "Published" status at the time of viewing.

  • A module removed from distribution (statuses "In design", "Pending review", or "Approved") is temporarily hidden from statistics and exports. Previously recorded progress is retained. As soon as the module is back to "Published" status, its data reappears automatically.

User progression statistics (multi-sheet)

This export contains a program summary sheet and one sheet per publication.

"Program statistics" sheet:

  • Identifiers and custom fields

  • Earliest start date across the program

  • Latest completion date

  • Total duration accumulated across all publications

  • Last activity

  • Program access: complete, partial, or none

  • Overall completion rate

  • Total modules completed

  • Final assessments: cumulative attempts and passes

Per-publication sheets:

Detailed learner view: start and end dates, last activity, completed chapters, completion rate, total training time, time spent per chapter, module-level progress, groups, access status, and final assessment attempts, score, and pass/fail.

Assessment results (multi-sheet)

One sheet per publication that includes a final assessment. Publications without an assessment are excluded. Columns match those of the course assessment export.

Activity logs

Raw login data for each learner. The export is delivered as a zip file containing one file per learner, with one export per publication.

🔍 Available Filters

  • By group

  • Include or exclude deactivated accounts

  • Include or exclude learners with no group

  • Include or exclude unidentified learners

  • Exclude learners whose group access has expired

ℹ️ How Completion Is Calculated

A module counts as completed as soon as its granules are marked finished - including granules pre-validated via a placement test.

Completion rate = modules completed / total active modules x 100

If the program includes a final evaluation, the learner must also pass it to be counted as "Completed".

⚠️ Important things to know

  • Pre-validated granules (placement test) count as completed granules.

  • Learners whose group access has expired continue to appear in historical statistics, unless you exclude them using the dedicated filter.
