⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

β€’ What an admin can do (manage users, spaces, publications, platform settings).
β€’ The three possible scopes: global admin, multi-space admin, or single-space admin.
β€’ How to assign this role.

🧠 Understand the Value of the Admin Role

The admin is responsible for keeping your training setup running smoothly: they configure the platform, manage users, organize spaces, and ensure overall consistency.

The Admin role lets you delegate this management to the right person, with the right level of access. On a multi-space platform, you can grant full administration (for a platform manager) or limit it to a specific scope (for a business-line or subsidiary owner).

πŸ“Œ Example: a group platform with 4 subsidiaries. You give your L&D director the global admin role (full visibility and control), and each subsidiary owner the admin role for their corresponding space. Each person manages their own scope, without touching global settings or other subsidiaries.

🎯 Choose the Admin's Scope

On a multi-space platform, you assign administration at the right level.

Scope

What it allows

Global admin

Full platform control: all spaces, users, global settings, customization.

Admin of multiple spaces

Manage selected spaces (users, projects, publications, groups) without touching global settings.

Admin of a single space

Manage the designated space only.

πŸ’‘ If your platform has only one space, see: Assign an Admin Role in a Single-Space Platform.
