📝 Manage Attendance Tracking in In-Person Modules

Track and validate learner attendance during your in-person sessions, directly from the platform.

Written by Océane

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• Attendance tracking is available in two modes: coach only, or learner + coach.
• Self-check-in is activated from the introduction page of the in-person module.
• The coach can mark learners as attended from the publication statistics, under the "Content tracking" section.

⚠️ This option is not available via SCORM Connect.

🧠 Understand the Value of Attendance Tracking

In a blended learning path, validating attendance at an in-person session is not just an administrative formality: it is what allows you to gate the rest of the path, ensure reliable completion statistics, and meet tracking requirements (particularly for certified or funded training).

Didask offers two attendance tracking modes to fit your context: a centralized mode managed by the coach, and a mixed mode where learners can check themselves in.

🔧 Enable Learner Self-Check-In

  1. Go to the relevant in-person module and edit the introduction page.

  2. Enable the attendance tracking option.

Once enabled, learners see a "Mark module as completed" button they can use themselves. When disabled, only the coach can validate attendance.

✅ Mark Learner Attendance as a Coach

  1. Go to the publication statistics, under the "Content tracking" section.

  2. Find the relevant in-person module and click "Attendance".

  3. Check or uncheck each learner's attendance individually.

  4. Confirm using the button at the bottom of the screen.
