🔍 Preview Your Projects, Modules, and Granules Before Publishing

Three levels of preview (project, module, granule) to test your content at the right level of granularity, without ever skewing your learner data.

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• Why use preview rather than testing in real conditions.
• The 3 preview levels: full project, module, granule.
• The 2 project-level preview modes and what each one shows.

🧠 Understand the Value of Preview

Preview allows you to test your content before publishing, without risking skewing your learners' statistics or introducing dummy data into your reports.

📌 Two typical situations:

  • You want to check the rendering of a module or a granule you are designing, at any stage (in progress, to be validated, validated).

  • You want to experience what your learners will experience once the training is distributed, to identify any adjustments needed.

💡 Each level of content (project, module, granule) has its own preview, so you can test at the right level of granularity.

🛠️ Launch a Preview Based on Your Need

Level

How to access it

📁 Full project

In the project, click the "Preview" button at the top right, then choose the desired mode.

📚 A specific module

Open the relevant module and click the "Preview" button. You test only that module.

🧩 A specific granule

Click the three dots to the right of the granule, then click "Preview". You test only that granule.

💡 Preview is designed as a secure testing environment that does not impact publication statistics.

🆚 Choose Between the 2 Project-Level Preview Modes

When you launch a full project preview, a window offers two modes:

Mode

What you see

When to use it

🔎 See the full content

All modules, regardless of their status: in progress, to be validated, validated, or distributed.

To check your design work, verify overall consistency, and spot what still needs finalizing.

🎓 See content available to learners

Only published modules, as they will be seen by your learners.

To experience exactly the learner experience before distribution.

⚠️ Note: in "See the full content" mode, only the learning assistant widget (the chat that answers learners' questions) is not available. The other assistant features (onboarding and end-of-module practice) remain accessible. In "See content available to learners" mode, the assistant is fully active, including the widget.

📌 Good to know: these two modes are only offered when no publication has yet been distributed. Once a publication is distributed, all content is directly accessible in preview without a prior choice.

🎛️ Use the Preview Menu

Once in preview, the ⚙️ icon allows you to:

  • Reset the overall publication progress.

  • Reset the assistant's conversation and onboarding (only available via "See content available to learners" mode).

  • Change the display: mobile, tablet, desktop.

  • Change the module language.

  • Exit preview at any time.

💡 Closing the preview tab in your browser resets the progress.
