💡 Add on-demand resources to support learners throughout their training

Add reference content learners can access whenever they need it, without breaking their learning flow.

⏱️ The essentials

• Resources support learners without overloading the experience: available when needed, never forced.
• To add them: click the three dots next to the introduction page in the sidebar, then select "Add resources".
• Learners see resources right after the module introduction page and can access them at any time via the lightbulb icon in the top right corner.

🧠 Understand the learning benefit

Learners often need a reference point mid-training: a cheat sheet, a how-to video, a template. Adding these as resources makes them available exactly when needed, without forcing them on everyone or cluttering the main module.

This is the performance support principle in practice: the right information, at the right moment, in context.

📌 Example: an interview skills course includes a downloadable scoring sheet and a question template as resources. Learners consult them freely, before or after exercises, based on their confidence level.

⚙️ Add resources to a module

  1. Open your module in the editor.

  2. In the sidebar, find the introduction page.

  3. Click the three dots to its right.

  4. Select "Add resources".

  5. Click "Add content" and choose a content block type from the available options.

💡 You can add multiple content blocks to the resources section: text, image, video, file, link, and more.

ℹ️ To delete a resource, hover over the Resources section in the sidebar, click the three dots to the right, then select Delete.

👀 What learners see

Resources appear right after the module introduction page in the learning flow. Learners can browse them then, or skip and come back later.

A 💡 lightbulb icon stays visible in the top right corner throughout the module, giving learners access to resources from any granule without losing their place.

ℹ️ Resources are not required steps. Viewing them is entirely optional.
