⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• 9 blocks available: Text, List, Image, Dialogue, Video, Audio, Document, Embed, Image analysis.
• 4 customizable options: Layout, Content, Style, Format.
• The order of blocks can be reorganized at any time using the directional arrows.

🧠 Understanding the Value of Content Blocks

Varying formats maintains attention and adapts the presentation to the nature of the content: a procedure is better shown in a video, an exchange in a dialogue, a data point in structured text. Choosing the right block is in itself a instructional decision.

📄 Text

Add paragraphs, headings, or lists to convey written information. Ideal for explaining a concept, introducing a topic, or guiding the learner.

📋 List

Structure information as a list to make it easier to read and remember. Six formats are available from the layout: Numbered, Bullets, Accordion, Tabs, Timeline, Steps.

💡 The List block displays 3 items by default as an example, but you can add as many as you like. To do so, hover over the block and click "Content" in the top left, then click "Add an item".

🖼️ Image

Import an illustration, infographic, diagram, or photo. Useful for visually reinforcing a message or representing a process.

💬 Dialogue

Integrate a role-play scenario in the form of a conversation between two characters. Allows learning to be contextualized within a realistic exchange.

🎥 Video

Add an informational or demonstration video by importing a file (e.g. .mp4). Effective for energizing content or illustrating a process.

🔊 Audio

Allow the learner to listen to audio content. Particularly useful for language training, podcasts, or testimonials.

📑 Document

Embed a document for the learner to view or download. Practical for providing supplementary material or a reference guide.

🔗 Embed

Add embedded content from an external source: interactive map, third-party tool, YouTube video, etc.

🔍 Image Analysis

Add an image the learner can explore via interactive zoom. Ideal for analyzing a map, a mockup, or any complex visual.

⚙️ Customization Options Per Block

In the editor of an exercise granule, hover over a block to reveal the customization icons in the top left.

  • ✏️ Content: edits the texts and elements displayed in the block.

  • 🈁 Layout: adjusts the layout of a text, list, or image block (arrangement of content within the block).

  • 🎨 Style: changes the background color of the block to improve contrast or visually distinguish sections.

  • 📏 Format: adjusts margins and image size (XS, S, M, L).

🔀 Reordering Blocks

Use the directional arrows on the right of each block to move them up or down. This lets you rework the presentation logic without recreating elements.
