🦾 Create Training Content with AI

Transform your existing documents into structured e-learning modules in minutes: here's how to use Didask's AI generation, from project to granules.

Written by Océane

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• AI can generate a full project, a module, or a sequence of granules from your documents.
• Two modes to choose from: Rethink (restructures the content) or Preserve (stays faithful to the source).
• The "context" field is optional but strongly recommended: it lets you adapt the tone, style, and level to your learners' profile.
• Generated content is a first version to evaluate and refine, not a final deliverable.

🧠 Understanding the Value of AI Generation

Didask's AI does not replace pedagogical work: it accelerates the production of a usable first version. The real design work begins after generation, when you evaluate the proposals, adjust the wording, and verify that the content matches the intended learning objectives.

📄 Which Documents to Use

For optimal results, use well-structured documents: clear and identifiable headings, numbering (I., II., A…), organized slides.

Accepted formats: .txt, .csv, .doc, .docx, .odt, .odp*, .ods, .ppt*, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .pages, .key

Maximum size: 30 MB for a project, 400 MB for a module or granule.

*When importing presentations in PPTX and ODP formats to create a project with AI, the system automatically extracts the presentation notes (speaker notes) in addition to the visible slide content.

🧩 Generate a Project with AI

  1. Create a new project and select "AI Generation".

  2. Import your document.

  3. Choose the generation mode (Rethink or Preserve) and specify a context if needed.

  4. Launch generation: the project structure is created automatically.

  5. Go into each module to launch granule generation.

To choose the right mode for your document, see Choose the right generation mode for your content.

✨ Generate a Module with AI

  1. In your project, add an e-learning module and select "Generate with AI".

  2. Choose the generation mode (Rethink or Preserve).

  3. Choose the format from the available options.

  4. Import your source content (file or plain text).

  5. Indicate the desired number of granules:

    • In Rethink mode: you choose the number (between 5 and 10 per module is ideal).

    • In Preserve mode: the number is determined automatically by the AI.

  6. Specify a context (optional but recommended).

  7. Click Generate and wait.

  8. Evaluate the generated proposals and adjust directly in the editor.

🪩 Generate a Sequence of Granules in an Existing Module

  1. Open the relevant module.

  2. Click "Add content".

  3. Select "Generate a sequence of granules with AI".

  4. Choose the generation mode, format, source content, number of granules, and context.

  5. Click Generate.

💡 Writing the "Context" Field Effectively

The context field allows the AI to adapt the tone, style, and level of your content. The more precise it is, the better the results.

What you can include:

  • Learner profile: "my learners are beginner sales reps" or "employees of a large company"

  • Desired tone: "address learners informally", "simple and direct vocabulary"

  • Module objective: "introduction to the basics of the sales process" or "deep dive into advanced techniques"

⚙️ How AI Uses Your Documents

The source content (text or imported file) is treated as the material to teach, not as instructions for the AI. The AI uses it to structure the module and populate the granules and exercises.

The context field is used solely to adjust the style and tone of the generated text. It has no effect on visuals.

💡 AI works better with raw content to transform (clear text or slides) than with scripts already formatted for Didask.

Features not available for AI-generated content:

  • Image analysis granules

  • Interactive image exercises

  • Introduction pages

  • Corrected assignment

🔄 Re-generating a Module / a Granule

👉 Regenerate a module

  1. From the module page, click "Relaunch".

  2. Modify the settings if needed: creation mode, format, source content, context.

  3. Click "Generate".

👉 Regenerate a granule

  1. From the module page, identify the relevant granule.

  2. Hover and click the three dots, then click "Regenerate".

  3. Modify the objectives under "Learners should keep in mind that…" if needed.

  4. Select the pedagogical format: descriptive, debate, conversational, example.

  5. Click "Generate a new version".

💡 Clicking "Relaunch" (for the module) or "Regenerate" (for the granule) lets you retrieve the prompt (= document / context) used to generate your content during AI generation.
