🧠 Understand How Role-Based Differentiation Works
Didask's AI uses a knowledge base to answer questions. The scope of that knowledge base depends on the user's role.
As an admin, you have access to all knowledge, without any filter:
Published and unpublished training content.
Documents ingested into the knowledge base.
As a learner, the AI is limited to:
Training content accessible through public distribution or group assignment.
Knowledge base documents accessible within the learner's scope (space or group).
In short: admins have a full view, learners have a filtered view based on their access rights.
🧪 Test the Coach as a Learner
To check what your learners actually see, you can simulate their experience from your admin interface:
Open the Coach from the side navigation bar.
On the home screen, click "Test as a learner" in the information banner.
In the window that opens, select the space or group you want to simulate.
Ask your questions: the coach will only respond based on knowledge accessible to learners in that space or group.
Remember to clear the memory after your tests. The coach retains exchanges, including those made in test mode. To avoid polluting future conversations, go to Memory (top right of the Coach) and delete any memories linked to your tests.
To test another space or group, open a new conversation.
✅ Apply Best Practices
Keep the scope difference in mind: when you test the coach as an admin, you see more knowledge than your learners do. An answer you receive is not necessarily available to them.
Check that content is published: if a learner is not getting an answer on a specific topic, make sure the relevant content is published and assigned to their group or space.
Keywords: roles, admin, learner, knowledge scope, access rights, test, simulation.
