🍪 Understand and Customize Cookies

Freely choose what Didask can track, with no impact on your features or the confidentiality of your content and learner data.

⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• What Didask cookies are used for and what they never track.
• How to accept, decline, or customize your consent (at any time).
• Your GDPR rights and privacy guarantees (Axeptio, Amplitude, 24-month max retention).

🧠 Understand Why Cookie Transparency Matters

When you use Didask, two essential things are protected: your training content and your learners' data. The cookies we use serve only to understand how the platform is used - never to track your training courses or your learners' answers.

You retain full control: your consent is required (GDPR), can be changed at any time, and no features are restricted if you decline tracking.

🔍 Understand What Didask Cookies Are

When you log in to Didask, a consent banner may appear at the bottom of your screen. It lets you choose whether you accept or decline Didask's use of cookies to improve the platform.

In summary:

  • Didask uses analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used.

  • This helps us improve your experience by identifying what works well and what needs improvement.

  • Your consent is required (GDPR) and you retain full control.

  • Your training content and personal data remain private: we only track navigation.

  • Your content remains private: we never track the content of your training courses, your learners' answers, or your business data. Only navigation is tracked (e.g., "A user visited the Publications page").

  • Consent can be updated at any time from your profile.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Answer

What types of cookies does Didask use?

Two types: essential cookies (always active - authentication, security, language preferences, basic functioning) and analytics cookies (optional, require your consent).

What happens if I decline analytics cookies?

Nothing negative. All Didask features remain accessible. The only difference is that we cannot use your usage data to improve the platform. Your experience stays the same.

What data is collected with analytics cookies?

Only: pages you visit, features you use (e.g., certificate creation, video playback), session duration, and your navigation path. We never collect your personal data, training content, learner answers, or private messages.

Is this data shared with third parties?

No, never. Analytics data is used exclusively by Didask's Product team. We use Amplitude, a recognized GDPR-compliant analytics tool, to store this data securely.

My organization has strict data policies. What should I do?

No problem - contact your Customer Success Manager. We can fully disable the consent banner for your learners, with no penalties or feature restrictions.

How long is this data retained?

Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 24 months, in line with GDPR data minimization principles.

Can I see what data Didask has collected about me?

Yes. Under GDPR, you have a right of access to your data. Contact [email protected] and we will provide a full report within 30 days.

Will the platform be slower with these cookies?

No. Analytics tracking is lightweight and runs in the background. You will not notice any difference in performance.
