⚙️ Generation Settings: The First Key Step
Start by opening the generation settings - this is an important step, both for the visual result and for saving time.
In your project Settings:
Choose the theme color for your path.
Select the recurring characters for your modules.
These settings help maintain visual consistency from one granule to the next and make it easier to align your project with your brand guidelines.
👉 Configuring them from the start will give your entire path a more cohesive and polished look.
🚫 Lighten Your Text: Limit Emojis
With the new, more spacious layout, using emojis to guide the learner is no longer necessary. Used in excess, they can create a cluttered effect that makes reading harder.
🔹 Remove them where possible, or keep them only to highlight a specific point.
Result: cleaner content that is more enjoyable to read and more visually professional.
🧱 Adjust Margins for a Balanced Result
Margins directly affect the readability and aesthetics of your granule. Adjust them based on the spacing you want between sections.
🔹 Tip: opt for reduced margins to avoid large white spaces between vertical blocks and achieve a smoother, more harmonious result.
🪶 Make Your Titles Stand Out After Conversion
After conversion, some titles may appear simply as bold text, sometimes with an emoji.
To make them more visible and structured:
Switch the block to "Image & Paragraph with Title", or with a subtitle if you are working on a list.
Copy the bold text and paste it into the Title field.
🖼️ Play with Image Sizes
In the new vertical experience, images actively contribute to the visual rhythm. Do not hesitate to vary sizes to create depth.
💡 Example: in an exercise granule with a two-part instruction,
use a larger image (size L) to illustrate the first part, which sets the context,
then a smaller one (size M or S) to accompany the second, focused on the action.
This variation in proportions makes the reading experience more dynamic and helps to prioritize information.
🎨 Make the Most of Your Theme Color
Use the theme color to highlight key elements: a title, an instruction, or a transition. This reinforces visual consistency and aids reading by providing consistent reference points.
💡 You can also apply it to a specific block to draw attention without breaking the overall harmony.
💬 Highlight Key Points with the "Statement" Block
The statement block is ideal for:
Emphasizing an idea to remember,
Recalling an important rule,
Flagging a prohibition, an exception, or a key formula.
💡 For a stronger effect, apply a vivid color to it: this naturally attracts the eye and energizes the layout.
👀 Check the Result in Preview Mode
Once your adjustments are done, open the granule preview to see the final result. This is the best way to spot:
Spacing that is too wide,
Poorly sized images,
Or unintended visual effects.
✅ A well-crafted vertical granule reads easily, without disruption or visual overload.
