⏱️ The Essentials in 3 Minutes

• How to import a CSV file to create multiple user accounts at once.
• The exact format required for your file to be accepted.
• How to convert an Excel or Google Sheets file to CSV.

🧠 Understand the Value of Bulk User Import

Learner engagement starts in the first hours: the faster your learners access the training, the less risk of losing their attention.

CSV import eliminates manual user-by-user data entry. In a few clicks, you create an entire cohort's accounts, assign them a common role and scope, and launch the training at the right moment.

📌 Example: a new onboarding cohort of 80 employees. You get the list of new joiners from Excel, export it as CSV, and create all 80 accounts in one operation. Your learners receive their invitation right away and start their path on day 1.

📋 Prepare Your CSV File

Your file must contain exactly 3 columns in this order:

Column 1

Column 2

Column 3

Email

First name

Last name

⚠️ Column order is mandatory. Do not add headers - column titles can disrupt the import. Start directly with the first row of data.

💡 If you are working in Excel or Google Sheets, you will need to convert your file to .csv before importing.

⚙️ Import the File into Didask

  1. In the Users section, click "CSV file import".

  2. Select your .csv file from your computer.

  3. Specify the separator used in the file (comma, semicolon...) if needed.

  4. Click "Next" to assign the common role and scope to all imported users.

  5. Choose whether to send an invitation to the users (checked by default).

🔄 Convert Your File to CSV

On Excel

  1. Open your file.

  2. Click File > Save as.

  3. In the file type dropdown, select CSV UTF-8 (comma-delimited) (.csv).

  4. Click Save.

On Google Sheets

  1. Open your file.

  2. Click File > Download as.

  3. Select Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).

  4. The file downloads automatically.
