🧐 Which projects should I convert first?

When getting started, prioritize projects where there's no immediate pressure to distribute.

💡 For example:

  • Projects you're currently authoring

  • Projects where you could send out a fresh communication campaign in a few weeks and are comfortable rolling out a new version

  • Projects that are still accessible to learners but aren't in an active distribution phase

📊 Can I convert a project that's already live?

Converting a project has no impact on its distribution whatsoever.

A live project will remain accessible to learners with no action needed on your part.

  • There's no need to pause or stop anything.

  • Conversion also has no effect on your project's existing statistics.

🔙 Can I undo a conversion?

Once a project has been converted to the Vertical Experience, it cannot be reverted to its previous format, even by contacting our support team.

That said, nothing is ever lost. At the time of conversion:

  • A copy of your original project is automatically saved in its previous format

  • This copy is not distributed to learners : only the converted version is

  • The copy is stored in a Backups folder that is automatically created in each Space of your Didask application

To make sure this backup is always created, please keep the following toggle enabled when converting:

🧐 Do I have to convert my projects to the Vertical Experience?

Not yet, but eventually yes.

We're currently in a transition phase where both experiences coexist, giving you time to get comfortable with this new way of authoring courses in Didask.

📝 Why should I start using the Vertical Experience now?

All future improvements and updates will be exclusive to the Vertical Experience. New AI-powered features for learners are also only available on projects using the Vertical Experience.

By switching now, whether at authoring or conversion, you get:

  • The best Didask content formatting experience, with expanded options (font size, margins, block styles, and more)

  • The full power of Didask's learning features, including open-ended questions and AI Assistants

  • The most refined AI prompts for better results with Didask AI

🫣 I have a large number of projects to convert. Is there an easier way?

Right now, conversion is done one project at a time, through each project's settings.

If you have more than 30 projects to convert and would like to do it in one go, reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll help you out.

✨ Will I need to make edits after converting a project?

In most cases, no.

That said, we do recommend reviewing each converted project to check if any small touch-ups are needed.
