An in-person module allows you to incorporate a synchronous event (in-person training session, virtual classroom) into your Didask course and associate resources to support your learners.

🔎 How to add an in-person module

1/ In a project, when you click on "Add a module", select "In-person".

2/ You can add granules.
💡The in-person module can contain informational or exercise granules, just like an e-learning module. These granules will become resources associated with the in-person session.

↪️ These granules can be:

  • Activities or resources to review before attending the session

  • Granules that you will display during the session...

3/ You can assign titles to your granules, which will be visible from the in-person module's introduction screen.

↪️ As in the use case below:

4/ From your publication, you can edit your module's introduction page by clicking on the Introduction button.

➡️ You can then add:

  • An introduction text for your module

  • The name and avatar of your instructor

  • The date of the event

  • The location: you can include a link, such as the URL of the video conference or a Google Maps link to the training centre's location

  • The duration

  • An image and an icon to enhance the module

🎓How does the module appear to my learners?

When a learner clicks on the module, they arrive at its introduction page:

  • If they click on the resource granules, they are taken directly to the corresponding granule.

  • The granules in the in-person module appear exactly the same as in an e-learning module.
