Did you know? By making an effort to recall information from memory, your learners increase the retention level of the knowledge you impart to them!

🔎 When Should You Add Flashcards?

  • If your training includes informational granules.

  • If your learning projects require conveying new knowledge to be memorised.

🛠️ How to add flashcards

1️⃣ Compose Content in the Granule Editor

In the "Flashcards" tab, write a question and its corresponding answer in the designated fields. You can create one or several flashcards per granule, either manually or with the help of AI.

➡️ Note: If you use AI, it will automatically generate flashcards based on the content of your key message. Therefore, it's important to craft this message carefully.

2️⃣ Activate the Flashcard Session in Your Publication

Click on “Add a Custom Flashcard Session”. All the flashcards you’ve created will be automatically consolidated into a revision session.

➡️ Note: Only publications of the "Learning Path" type allow the addition of flashcard sessions.

3️⃣ Test Your Flashcard Session Using the “Preview” Mode

4️⃣ All Done! The flashcard session has been added to your publication.

🎓 And from the learner’s perspective?

Flashcard sessions are located at the end of each module. Afterward, learners self-assess to test their knowledge:

💡 Keyboard navigation is not available in a flashcard session.

📎 Want to go further?

While digital flashcards are very practical within the training programs offered by Didask, it is entirely possible to offer learners a simple and accessible alternative they can use at home, without a screen.

👉 All it takes is a few sheets of paper or index cards to create paper flashcards-a manual, fun, and effective method to anchor knowledge for the long term, in full autonomy.

Here’s how: Take a few sheets of paper or index cards and cut them into small cards.

  • On one side, write a question.

  • On the other side, write the answer.

Practice regularly: read the question, try to answer from memory, then flip the card to check.

Organize two piles:

  • Correct answer ➜ review later, spacing out the sessions.

  • Incorrect answer ➜ review the same day until the card moves to the “correct answer” pile.

Keywords: flashcard, memorisation, informational granule, consolidation, memory anchoring.
