There are two options for embedding a video on Didask:
Embed a video hosted on an external platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Loom etc.) using “Embed” mode.
Host a video on Didask using the “Video” mode.
1️⃣ Add a hosted video using the Video mode
1. Select “Video” from the granule editor toolbar:
2. Click on the “content” icon and upload the video:
📄 Technical details
Maximum size per video: 2GB.
Available storage space on your platform: 150GB.
Supported formats: mp4, webm, mov, avi, wmv, gif.
🔍 Improved learner logs
This new feature also improves learner tracking:
Adding videos via embed links: When a video is embedded via an embed link, the system cannot detect whether it is being played. This may cause the inactivity modal to appear after 15 minutes.
Adding videos via direct import: By uploading the video directly to Studio, the system automatically detects whether the learner is watching the video, thus avoiding unexpected disconnections.

⚠️ Important! Remember to choose the appropriate settings to allow your video to be shared on the site where you hosted it, so that it can be viewed from our platform.
